Why does everyone at the fish stores around here keep trying to tell me that lance fish are just small silversides. I have been told numerous times at different stores. I was in a local fish store today looking for silversides and they offered me lance fish. I told them that my bass hate those, but love silversides. They said they were the same fish just smaller. I asked them why the same company would call the same fish by 2 different names instead of large and small silversides. They didn't know of coarse. I cut the packages open and pulled some out to show them the comparisons of body shape, mouth structure, color, etc. The managers walked away and the 16 yr old kid that worked there was the only one that stayed to learn something. He was glad I showed him and know he knows and knowing is half the battle. The managers are ignorant f@%$s and I know they are going to keep calling them the same thing.
Lance fish, just a small silverside?

I just get SFBB silversides, my fish love them, they are cheap, and they have several sizes in the package.
