would a 7" endli be okay with an 11" lap in a 120 gal? i've seen many ppl keep bichirs with others half their sizes, but would mine work?

I think you should be fine if the endi is thick. I have a 9" ornate with a 6" sen with no problems.

I have a 9 1/2 inch Ornate and Palmas in the tank with at least 3 other bichirs no more than 5 1/2 inches each. You should have no problem unless your bichir is highly aggressive. Mine are cool so that's why it's no problem.

I Agree!!!! about Territory issue , check your lids ... or tops .... Territory issues these guys get jumpy .... but, G/L

haha i attempted it, and had to take the endli out later that night when the lap swallowed his head..., they're both fine now. lol

wow, I'm surprised it didn't work. You can put them together later when the endi surpasses it in growth though.

maybe yours is just overly aggressive? I've kept all sizes and varieties of smaller Bichirs with medium Laps and Endlis that were around 9-10". I too am surprised it didn't work out for you.

I have the same problem. But is the other way round. Endli swallowed lap head. Now living quite closely together...
