Not the greatest pics, but theyll do for now. They just came in today, from NE Cichlids. Great shape larger than I thought they would be, and even snacked a bit today.

Thanks! I havent measured them, but theyre between 9-10 inches estimate.

I agree. Laps can be quite aggressive.

Thats what I heard, and thats why we keep most of the monsters we keep. These laps along with endlies and congicus are going into a lower jaw species polypterus only tank.

I myself like the lap. polypterus sp. communtity thing... A different look from the endlies and congicus comm. tanks... that is more commonly kept and seen these days. Just something more differen... I think it's an "underdog" thing?!! Enjoy!
