How much does a 200~ish gallon acrylic tank weigh? I might pick up a 240 gallon custom acrylic tank and was wondering how many helpers I may need. Any help would be appreciated! They say acrylic weighs 1/2 as much as glass and my 125 gallon glass weighed around 200lbs or so.

I use to have a really good aquarium calculator that I used that would tell you everything you needed to know about size weight, how much gravel, and heating requirements. I am trying to look it up and post a link for you.
I have a 240 gallon tank. It only took two people to move the aquarium; me and my buddy. The acrylic is 3/4" thick also with two overflows. The damn stand was heavier than the tank. Given me and my buddy are fairly bigger lifters. Bring three just incase if i were you. The more the better tho right =]
my 240 glass took 4 of us too move damn thing weighed like 400lbs it felt like the stand weighed less
