Last week my 26" Silver Arowana started getting small mini wart-like spots along his lateral line on both sides of his body. They almost look like air bubbles, but they are certainly coming from the surface of his scales.
There are no changes in his behavior patterns. He still eats from my hand, and is not easily spooked.
I have never before seen these spots on my Dragons. I tried taking a photo of them, but my camera can't seem to pick them up because they are silver in color as well, and he must turn sideways before you can see them as abnormal.
Anyone have any experience with these particular types of spots?
I'm concerned, and hoping it's not some kind of fungal or bacterial infection.
Before you ask, other than standard weekly water changes, there have been no critical changes in environment, and water perameters are ideal.
I will post a photo later if I can capture a decent shot. Although, it's pretty much as I described above. There are about 25 little spots on either side. They don't seem to be spreading, or getting any larger, but are not going away either.
Thanks for any help regarding this issue.
