anyone know of some good places to buy some LARGE artifical rocks that do not take up massive quantities of space? Looking for tallish but not real wide and deep sizes to take up huge amounts of space in aquaria.

make it out of styrofom then seal and coler it to look real.

i hate to say it but, PETSMART ... (i know, i can hear the boo's)
i rarely shop there but the decorations are the best ive seen (for fake decor)
they have large driftwood, and rock decorations, that dont look cheesy.
maybe i little pricey, but not too bad

heres the rock

and im pretty sure my local store has one a little bigger than that, for about $40-45

and some decent driftwood stuff

try your local landscaping place. It's dirt cheap when you need large amounts of rock, especially if you compare it to petsmart, ect. They charge $20 for a less-then-medium sized rock, when your landscaping place would charge .30 a lb (or something to the effect). Plus there would be a large variety to choose from, and you're getting something completely unique, not mass produced. Just make sure it's not a limestone based rock, a simple drop of vinegar will tell you that if you're unsure.
