Large ATF with SA Arowana

Noting some interesting behavior recently between my GATF (16") and arowana (17") .. the gatf wants to eat him! He eyes him up, darts toward him, then decides not to bite at the last second. He never paid any mind until just recently, which is strange because the aro has been doing a lot more growing than the goliath.

Do larger tigers hate (South American) arowana or something? Anyone care to share their experiences?

I'll make sure to get a video before moving the arowana

From what I've witnessed from my VATF(I think) is anything silvery or very fast moving can become a target. How often do you feed them?

I only feed 3x a week

No personal experience with atf, but I do remember the river monsters episode they said they would hit anything silver. IIRC one killed a girl and they suspect it was something silver on her belt that got their attention
