large cichlids?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
VIEJAS!!!! But then again I dont know how they would do with a bocourti....

you can try some of the other species of the umbee's...i forgot what their names were but it was in the Caq. group

I beleive there is only one umbee species, Caquetia ubiferum. Unless your reffering to all the C. species as "umbees." Males are one of the largest cichlids however females are about eight inches smaller. Fairly aggressive, but pretty cool looking fish.

I would go either a veija argentea, veija regani, or really and veija you can get. A texas cichlid would be cool too.

What are you looking for Joe? How about the aggression? What sized tank?

I'd honestly just browse the photos at www.tangledupincichlids.com and www.cichlidae.com and get a list, then ask what would work.

There are too many to list.

tank is currently 180g, and will be going bigger, i always do:D ultimately a 96x48x24
aggresion i'd say semi to aggresive, no killers though. i want fish that arent going to be constantly chewing on each other, but do of course understand that nipped fins do and will happen.

i like my fish like i like my women, big and beautiful!:headbang2

i will go through some pics on rapps site and then post some options.

freddies are not too aggressive, brilliantly colored, they get around 12", and are rare
