I just grabbed a 15" Clown Knife Can i Grab another Royal Knife thats bigger and keep them together in a 180 until an upgrade?
Also wanted to add some fish like a big Gulper Cat 10"?
Anything else go with Clown Knifes i never kept them just grabbed an opportunity to get a really nice one and have a spare tank?
Will they mess with stuff, or just leave alone what they wont eat?
He ignores frozen silversides but likes floating krill?
I want to add a huge Pipa Pipa frog but i am thinking they won't like each other?

i tried even having two of the same size put togethe rin a tank
the royal kept attacking the CK.
they just fight.
but some have done it. in my experience, its a no no.

^^^ what he said. I would also not trust gulper cats with anything as thin and easily foldable as a ck - there was a thread with a photo where a gulper cat ate a jardini that was longer than it was and had it folded up in its stomach.

Majority of the time, unless they are raised together when they are small, they usually don't tolerate other Knives.

:iagree: Even when raised together, they can become territorial. The gulper could also easily fold them up like a taco and eat a very big meal with them knifes. Best to keep one and re-think the rest of your stock. :D

:iagree: I might take a gamble on the 2 knives; watch them closely cause it could go either way but I'd pass on the 'gulper'. It's bound to end badly. "T"

Pick your favorite of the two or get a tank divider maybe. They most likely will not get along. Sorry! It is always a bummer when fish dreams are squashed by territoriality and fighting...:nilly:

Why can't we be friends? Why can't we be friends? Why can't we be friends? ...Why can't we be friends?

Didn't actually expect this to work but...

;) I have a similar tandem. They get along for the most part. A few scraps here and there, then they seperate & go to neutral corners of the tank.
