Large Dats and Aro with Clown L???????

Ok....I got 2 large wide bar 14" plus...and Jardini 16"plus..

Now I pick up a bunch of CL that 8" are the biggest and 3-4" are the smallest. Do you guys think those CL would be safe with Dats and Jar? I really want to put them together but not sure about it.

I will have plenty of hiding space and wood for the CL...but with hesitation is the Dats and Jar are really big?

I know CL are fast swimmer and hide, but again you never know.

What do you guys recommend, Yes or No?????

Figure I ask before I lost some CL.

i would say 5" for the smallest clown loach. but i wouldn't know about the smaller ones since they're lightning fast

I think if you went ahead and put them in you could be potentially missing a few smaller ones in the morning

I had my clowns in with dats and were fine. I will say the dats were only 4" and the smallest was about 2 1/2" so maybe to early to tell. I wouldn't be concerned about the larger loaches but the smaller one's......I wouldn't do it.

On 8 of my 5-6'' CL, my aro or ST killed 5...

its always a risk

i have about 8 big cl's in the main tank with lots of hiding room and they are doing fine........the tank is well fed and lots of room.


the other side of the coin is a fish eating a large cl getting killed by the spikes........
