I was wondering how much insulation I would need to build a 450x200x120cm heated pond outside in the uk if I go through with the idea it will be in a diy shed thing so what sort of things would I need to build it

If in a shed, you could just heat the shed and not worry about insulating the pond. Also there will be condensation inside the shed, so you may want to cover the pond to keep the moisture in.
