World of wet pets in Beaverton usually have some decent sized ones for sale.

I'm not sure if Family Pet has the True geophagus surinamensis, but he's got some Geos. Kinda spendy for Family Pets @10$ a pop for 2-3inch. Curious what are you going to house these Geos with or in?

From the way you worded it you want one eartheater? These guys do best in groups, unless you get something like a "Geo." brasiliensis (that isn't really a Geophagus). The Wet Spot has some small brasiliensis in right now.

I have a 210 gallon tank that has two oscar's and a pleco. The pleco will most likely get rehomed because he is becoming very lazy. He's not really going after his food or the left over food from the oscars.

I was planning on only getting one. I thought it would add some excitement to my tank. I've seen baby eartheaters take mouth full after mouth of sand and spit it out. My problem is left over food that ends up rotting in the tank. It makes my glass pretty dirty. I do clean 2x a week so the food isn't in there long but cleaning the glass sucks. I have put so many scratches in my brand new tank with my magfloat. :swear:

Thanks for the info. I'll have to check it out. I have never been there. I mainly go to cayes. Cayes has another good sized red devil/midas. Are you still trying to find a female?

Jake,
I know you're looking for eartheaters, but have you considered loaches for bottom feeding such as yoyo, clowns or others? They're loads of entertainment! Just putting it out there. Good luck nonetheless!

You could also try feeding less. Instead of putting in a bunch of food at once, put in a small amount at a time and don't put more in until they finish with the previous amount. Floating pellets might help too.
