I have a large elephant nose, Gnathonemus petersii, I need to get out of my tank due to aggression issues. He will either need to be with a large group of other ENs, or the only mormyrid in the tank. He is about 7 inches, eats frozen bloodworms and Hikari carnivore pellets, looks exactly as the picture above.
He will need a large tank (100 gallons plus) with a sand substrate, and an acidic to neutral ph. He would appreciate live plants, somewhat low lighting, and/or plenty of hiding places.
If you have a suitable tank I would be able to negotiate on price, I paid $30 for him about a month ago... I could take him back to the LFS and get my money back but would prefer to see him in a proper tank. I can deliver in Portland area. PM me with any questions.
