large fish > < motion detectors ???????

There is a fishing store here in town look'n at setting up an aquarium in the store. Now the question is............ can larger fish set off alarm motion detectors??????? anybody here work at a store that has pets etc. that could help.......

Most motion detectors are preset for home pet sized animals. The store needs to check with their security company to find out their limits. When my system was installed, it was set to animals 20lbs or smaller. I've never had a problem with my motion detectors setting off alarms from my fish.

Most motion detectors wouldn't be set off because of the tank wall between it and the fish, unless they go wandering around at night that is.
