Looking for a fish or three has to be active it's a 200 gallon tank I had a fahaka but it was too lazy I want large and active please and thank you

+1 the viejas are great.anything amphilophus:midevils,trimac,amarillos,etc. maybe a pair of RTM,jags,or freddies.for SA many people like oscars.i prefer chocolates or severums

I've been keeping fish 30+ years and have kept mostly CA/SA cichlids but I never had an Oscar. Last year I picked up a Red Oscar and my family have fallen in love him. I don't know if I just lucked out or my LFS knew a good breeder. This guy just "pops", nicest Oscar I've seen. To top that he has a wonderful personality, he doesn't start any fights but I'm sure he could finish them. I have him in with Veija Argentia and everyone gets along great.

Could never find an umbee that's why I was thinking dovii the only umbee I ever found was a adult female for 240

You can get umbees from several different vendors on here for way less than that. Not sure if you're not wanting to have anything shipped to you.
