I recently picked up a 9 inch Female Front, that is eating well, looking well too, but since i've never owned a Front, i don;t know if this is normal or not. She appears to be flapping her fins in order to keep herself from floating to the surface, and then when she stops for a little while, she just chills out on the surface, with the top of her head above the water, like a sharks fin, from the movie jaws......Please advise.

Thanks in advance.

I did a little online research, and its called Float, and issues that may have been caused by inhaled air in there belly, that there having trouble releasing. Pretty much its like not being able to burp.

Well There Is Your Problem, They Are Usually Kept In A Species Only Tank Where They Tend To Fell More Comfortable, Sometimes Mixed With Smaller Species From The Same Lake.

Also, Treating Float Tuff.

Well i guess it was'nt stress, because her Float issue is gone, Thank you Fish-Gods, and there was never any issues with my Bass your Severums, because she seems to be the queen of my tank.

I'm so glad thru the night, she must of BURPED so hard, she released all that air in her belly:)
