Large gourami

Hi, I'm I want a gourami that gets around 9-12 inches (not a kissing gourami) giant gouramis get around 20 inches so that's too big, any suggestions?

depends on the tank.

I dont think of any that really fit the bill... Moonlight and snakeskins may get close 7-8 inches blues and there morfs push six or so.

Snakeskins are the best for that, I had a group of 6 and they do grow relatively fast too and the sexual dimorphism is also easy to tell from around 3"-4"

I suggest Snakeskin gourami it is large but smaller than a gg and i have one too.
