I want to add a couple of plants to my fahaka puffer's tank. Its a 120 with one doulbe four foot fixture and one double three foot fixture. Both fixtures have normal indoor bulbs I got from home depot. Is there any plant I can get for the tank that gets to be a decent size, is hardy, and can live in these conditions? I have some java ferns and anubias right now. I would like something taller and fuller. Also this should be a another post but I get real think sludge like algea on my anubias. Any clue what that might be?

i believe most swords are hardy..they can get big too, if you get vals get jungle some jungle vals.. they would look nice in a tank that large

i really like vals and swords, but I thought they had a high light requirement.

Hornwort is very large and very hardy. It gets several feet long, and sprouts many side shoots.

OH and it releases algae combatting chemicals...

what about onion plants and dwarf onion plants. How much light do they need?
Also can Narrow leaf chain sword be grown in lower light conditions? I have found a lot of conflicting info on them.
