Large Male Texas cichlid. Nice colors.

Well i was on the hunt to day for a female texas cichlid for my male that i caught about a month ago. Not to much luck to be had. I caught one large male, plenty of 2-3" bass, some green sunfish and one red spotted sunfish. This is the large male that i caught. If i didn't already have a male i would keep him, his hump was nice and his color was nice. Sorry for the crappy pic, cellphone was all i had.

There is a pond near Lake Pontchartrain that someone let them go in and they have been breeding, i hope the male i caught from there also turns out that pretty. They are also all over City Park, which is the big park in new orleans.
 
Now everyone in the area know they can skip the local fish store and save there money.
 
You guys need to try offering them for sale or trade. Being on the forum should get you some takers.

Didn't think of that, if i had the resource/space/capability of holding multiple fish i would do it, If i were to setup anymore tanks i think my wife would kill me.
