Im making a new thread since the terms have been changed. My friend is selling his male Matamata, it's large (see pics with tape measure), a voracious eater & he's gorgeous. My friend is in Pennsylvania but the turtle is in NJ right now since i'm taking care of it for a little while. We prefer local pick up or can meet somewhere near NJ & PA, we will not ship. Asking price is $450. Or we will trade for smaller Matamatas, other rare turtles or rare fish.
The turtle ate yesterday (about 75 rosie minows) he's got quite an appetite. This is the second time i've watched him eat. Pictures were taken 2 days after he shed his skin & some of the skutes (some skin can still be seen hanging from the turtlle in some pics, it has since completely fallen off) He now has beautiful new skin with bright patterns. Anything else you need to know about the turtle please don't hessitate to ask.
