Just as the title says my 15-16" Mono is forming HITH how do I treat it? Fish eats frozen silversides as well as frozen krill.

it happens a lot with bigger cichla. happened to me with my two biggest bass. some folks believe it's due to poor diet and/or water quality. what are your nitrate levels at?
Do more frequent and bigger water changes. Do thorough bottom vacs. Soak food in in liquid vitamins for fish. Good luck.

Vita Chem by Boyd Enterprises is the one I've always used, on both fresh and saltwater fish. They have a formula for each. It's easy to find, most good LFS have it, as well as just about all online supply houses.
