The other night I was watching this show, and they were talking about these large-mouthed marine gobys.
They were highly territorial against conspecifics and they would open up their mouths (which looked like open umbrellas) and they would fight with eachother.
They appeared to be a reef fish and in one clip I saw one eat an unsuspecting shrimp before retreating back into it's territory (which was a giant shell).
They said that the one was like 9".
Any ideas on what these could be?
