Hello, my tiretrack eel must have cut himself and he got body fungus on his side, i raised the temp and added salt to the tank. Now the fungus is gone but his skin is peeling off in that area (its roughly 1.5") and you can see his red meat. Any ideas on what i can do. I dont want him to suffer is there anything i can apply to the wound that will help it heal?

Betadine or Iodine can be applied directly to the wound to facilatate healing. Keep the water clean to help prevent secondary infections.
