I noticed odd pink bulges coming out of the anus of several fish in one of my tanks. It's a planted 20 gallon in which I have juvenile Sajica and Rivaltus along with several apistos, a trio of Curviceps, a pair of Blue Gularis killies and a few tiny plecos.
I run DIY C02 for the plants and use 2x HOB filters rated for 20gal. Ph 6.5, Ammonia 0, nitrates <20ppm. All has been status quo in this tank for well over 6-8 mos. When I went to feed them this evening, all ate and behaved normally, they got blackworms.

After they ate I stood for a while to observe and noticed the protrusions mentioned above. They are present on all of my Sajica and all Rivaltus but no others are affected. It looks a bit like they're going to crap out their intestines. These are 1"-2" fish and the bulges come out maybe 2-3mm.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? If so, any ideas for treatments? They are acting fine but I would hate for this to go unchecked and lose fish.
<One more bit of info: I didn't notice this until after I fed them. Could it have been induced by the feeding?>
THanks.

Could be parasites of some sort? i've seen read something similar to this on another forum which happened to said members fahaka and turned out to be some kinda of Parasite causing problem...

It could be Camallanus, Hexamita or some kind of internal parasites?

Not to sure, I've only dealt with internal parasites a few times before.
