My wife and I are planning a large tank build. I'm a hobbyist woodworker, so making the majority of the tank and stand is what I get out of the deal. Anyways, for various reasons, I can't start the actual build until September, but I can start acquiring the materials. The plan is to build the tank as a room divider, so it will have large panels of glass (6-7' x 2')on the front and back, but wooden sides. Now for my questions...
1. I have asked around some local used fish stores for broken aquariums, but where else do you find a used piece of glass like that? If I have to I will buy them new, but looking to save where I can.
2. Has anyone seen Pond Shield or an alternative go on sale?
