Large Python Permit, NYC

Hello,
Is it possible to get a permit to own a large python (burm, african rock, retic, etc) for NYC. I really want to get a dwarf burm but either know a dwarf only grows 6-9 feet there still illegal. It is pretty stupid. I don't want to own one illegally and if it is possible would complete all the necessary paperwork etc.

Believe me I totally would, but I want to be a responsible keeper and attain one legally. But hey you never know ;)
 
Do it legally... our hobby does not need anyone sneaking around the rules at this point. If.... or even when...the day comes that a nation wide ban is put into place then I will full support going around the rules to keep what you are passionate about...but right now we are still fighting and anyone going against the rules at this point only makes it harder for us
