Large rocks on barebottom, is it possible?

I want to put some large rocks in a bare bottom tank, but I'm worried about whether or not it's safe to do without causing a tank fail.

Anyone have experience with this?

You'll be fine. Just set them in there gently

This was in a 55. A very thin layer of sand was added months later, but the sand was added with the rock in place so the rock is actually on bare bottom
