Large Sailfin Pleco, and Ray?

u can try it.. if the pleco starts sucking on the disk of your motoro...--> Remove your pleco
 
I've been lucky and have kept three plecs together with my rays for 2 years and every thing has been fine so far. But there are stories of them suddenly turning agro. I would say go for it, but be cautious.;)

My personal experience as requested :)

I have 2 reti's and I kept 3 large L128's with them... These pleco's started to suck on their disks when i fed my fish... They also "rided" on the back of the rays like a rodeo rider... lol... So i sold these fish...

I dont know if every pleco has this habbit, but be careful :)

That's a good decision. I'm glad you passed on the pleco. I had a large Scarlet L25 with my Rays for about one year. One day I came home and the Scarlet had sucked on my 12" Leo all day while I was at work and killed him.It's deffinately not worth the risk.

agreed :) I have seen Plec's suck on rays more than not :)

Damn, how big was that starlet? I have one of 4 inches...

Gonna keep an eye on him !
