So some of my fish had been acting pretty lethargic lately but I couldn't figure out why. Today I came home and there were huge worms (like two inches) hanging out of the anus of some of my fish. Does anyone have any advice on the best course of treatment for this?

Sounds like callamanus worms. Get some Fenbendazile or levamisole and will need to be treated twice. Should help. Post pics if able.

They are not callamanus worms. They are white, wider than the smaller fishes feces and crooked. I am thinking tapeworms right now. I might pick up some general cure unless someone thinks it could be something else. I will work on the pictures.

Whatever it is just claimed my favorite fish, my show quality female Betta. No picture would show how gorgeous she was, the best betta I have ever seen male or female. My whole system is contaminated and I don't think it's just the worms. Sorry I don't have a better camera.
