Well I purchased two small senegal bichirs and they are doing great. Fun to watch and eating everything. They are around 3"-4".

My plan is to stock 2 severums with them. I lucked upon someone close by selling a 6" rotkeil with nice color... Came from rapps..

I just want to be sure it won't go after the bichirs.. I know all fish are different, just want to see your opinions...will they be ok?

Also on a side not I have a really small gold sev.. think he will get beat up??

should b fine i have sevrums and polys together not as small as yours i would just keep an eye on them for awhile but shouldnt have any problems

Whatcha feeding the lil guy? Just wanting to compare. I have 2 almost the same length... around 3 inches.

I am feeding them NLS 1mm pellets, broken up shrimp pellets, and broken hikari bottom feeder pellets...

I am going to get a few more types of foods for them, including some frozen shrimp and things... I want to get them really used to the pellets though, they seem to eat whatever they find on the bottom so far....

Good idea. My two are a lil spoiled on frozen bloodworms n brine shrimp. Trying to get them on pellets now.

How do you feed the frozen bloodworms? I ask because I have another tank with puffers that I feed blood worms... I was considering feeding some to the senegals... I just hate the mess it makes...

I usually drop the cubes of bloodworms thawed inn for my fish and my senegal seems to do a good job of finding and eating them. Just maybe thaw them out and feed a little at a time to avoid the mess. and to the OP, ive kept a couple 4 inch sevs with my senegal and they minded their own business.
