Hey guys!

I have been thinking about upgrading my tank for some time now. However I have never seen a large tank at any of my LFS. So I was wondering where is the best place for me to look for a large tank in eastern Canada? If you can provide your experience in dealing with them that would be great.

Thanks

Big Al's does not carry large tanks in inventory. I am looking for a manufacturer, I dont want to have to go to a LFS and ask them to get a quote on a tank they dont normally sell and then have them mark it up to give me a price.

That makes sense. Look on craigslist yet?

how big are you looking at? I used to work at Big Als and all of them usually carry tanks up to 125 gallons in stock and on hand, and can order all the Aqueon and Marineland tanks easily, which means you can get up to 300 gallon tanks easily (and without paying any shipping costs).

if you are looking at a custom size, then yes, Big Als doesn't carry it.

look into these guys (well known Canadian tank manufacturer) for custom sizes:

some of my old maricles tanks were almost 20 years old. they make great tanks.

but they are on the more expensive side - but you get what you pay for. you pay for the quality that will last and last

good luck!

Ya, havent had much luck. I found one once in California. I figured by the time I would get there to see it the tank would be sold.
