Shortly after getting my most recent group of sunfish (August 2015) I noticed that a few of them had these weird white growths on their caudal & dorsal fins. I figured that whatever they were hadn't killed them yet, so it probably wouldn't kill them, so I thought nothing of them.
In the past week or so I noticed that there were a couple more growths on them than normal, nothing extreme, but the worst one has five growth instead of 3. The fish are pumpkinseed sunfish in the 4 - 6 inch range, kept in a 110 gallon, 4x2.5.1.5 foot tank, filtered by a K1 reactor made from a 5 gallon bucket. The tank is kept at about 60F
Any thoughts on what these weird bumps are? They are about 1/16 inch across.
