Large white spots.

Since adding a tiger shovel nose to my tropical pond. Some of my fish seem to have had some white spots appear one them. I doubt it's white spot due to the size. I'm abit concerned for my 38" Niger who has had several spots appear on his lower back. The tiger shovel nose has over 15 on him. Could this be a stress related thing? Or has it brought something into the pond?
