Largemouth bass fillet as cichla food?

I caught some spotted bass and largemouth bass this weekend and was wondering if i could fillet them and feed part of it to my peacock bass?

I use scrap trimmings off of sunnies and crappies I fillet in the summer time and my fish love it.

does it matter if the skin of the fish is on or off

I'd leave it off, but just personal preference. There might be some science behind them being coldwater fish and having more fat that the P-bass should try to digest, but I don't know if that's really the case or not.

it is really cool you guys can fish for your cichlas food, here the local water ways are far too polluted, heavy metals mainly
