and mabye some tips from previous largemouth owners... thanks
i raised one from 2 1/2" up to almost 13", my dad killed it when i went on vacation. they are pigs and will gourge themselves on monday and still be digesting on tuesday and beg for more. i feeding schedule depends on what ur feeding him. the better and more healthy a meal is the less ofteb itll need food. what r u currently feeding it?
I had one for 3 months before it got trapped in its cave and died. I started off feeding it minnows and eventually it accepted hikari arowana sticks.
The last largemouth bass I had i kept for two years untill my dad as well killed him within my first two weeks of college.
But I started off feeding him maybe a dozen or so feeders once a week, then once summer came along I would feed him whatever freshwater minnows I could catch along with saltwater fish and shrimp.
Mine wasnt picky at all. He would pretty much eat whatever I would throw in there for him. But like madness said it really depends on what exactly you are feeding him.
