what are some larger community friendly fish i could put in my 240g? i currently have some different tetras, angel fish, BGK, spiney eel, blue crayfish, regular crayfish, and some loaches...all are small and i dont really want them to be anyones dinner.

Thanks

i was thinking of getting some bala sharks but i wasnt sure if it would eat the smaller fish...i just had my LFS order a couple of rope fish...the BGK is really small like 2.5 inches so he'll be okay for a while.

I have six Balas and a Red Tail in my tank along with Killies, Angels, Yo-Yo & Tiger Loaches, Yellow Tail Blue Botias and a Tire Track Eel. How about Yellow Tail Blue Botias? Mine are about 5" now and they have a lot of personality. They also sleep on their sides which I think is funny.

i had the same question but regarding large cichlids like oscars, severums, geophagus, etc what would be a good south american community cichlid tank consist of?

Flagtail Prochilodus are a really cool addition to a large community tank - they are colorful, active, get big, and won't eat smaller fish.

gourami might be your answer. of the above suggestion of cichlids geos would be your best bet, oscars and severums can get mean, bad news for your angelfish. geos are much more peaceful.
