hey everyone there have been alot of questions regarding age on here lately so I am curious what age group dominates MFK.
 
I didn't say it did. I was just curious what age group was into fishkeeping the most. And actually age has alot to do with it. Due to the fact that the older people most likely have more experience
 
realy i have 9 years experence and i know people who are old who have less by the way im 15

not meant to be insulting but just because you had fish when you were 6 years old doesn't mean you are experienced in them. I don't know many 6 year olds that can comprehend somthing like fish keeping. On the other hand though your dedication can make up for age. Research and hard work can make up for years of just keeping gold fish in a bowl.

agreed... a poll on years in the hobby would be nice also:D
 
my father kept fish my entire life and is the one that sparked my interest. That doesn't mean I have 26years experience in fishkeeping. I was breeding guppies on my own at 8 years old. Do I remember it? Hell no. I can honestly say my "experience" started when I joined this forum. thats when I got serious about the hobby.
