LARGEST FRESHWATER EEL POSSIBLE FOR A 250gal?

i want a large freshwater eel thats not a swamp eel, help?

Actually those are knife fish.

Depending on what else will be in the tank, a large tire track eel or large fire eel is impressive. The tire track eel will eat small fishes and frozen. The fire eel will usually take worms and maybe frozen prawn if you are lucky.

You could get an American Eel too. Nothing colorful, electrical, or aggressive, but a real personality. Mine is over 3 feet now; eats from your hand, best friend is a mudcat, and very calm. I think they're very interesting.

you can keep American eel but LFS need a license to sell them!

Fire eels take a while to get feeding but they will eat the same as tyre tracks, mine would eat frozen prawn, fish, mussel, worms, bloodworm etc.....
