Largest Pellet Size You Have Found

For those fish that need something bigger, I use cat, or dog, food. It's incredibly cheap, and does the trick. Please don't bother getting into a debate on whether it's good or not - it works for me, and some others. Nothing like a big Pacu or Oscar, or catfish, gobbling up handfuls of cat food :)

Make it easy on yourself, and look up the make-up of each food (cat/dog food) and get the right percentages and ingredients that you are looking for, to help make your decision. I'm not sure how a "premium saltwater fish" is any different from a "premium freshwater fish."
If size is the only thing you are concerned about, then go with cat/dog food, otherwise, go with what they eat in the wild - clams, shrimp, fish - from the food store.

I see the cabela's near me feeding the big pacus, carp, catfish some sinking pellet(I think they call it cal cubes or some thing that pronounce similar to that) that the size of my big toe, cylinder shape, about 1'' dia x 2-2.5'' long!

Marine fish require a different type of fatty acid profile, one which will typically not be found in cat or dog food, and for certain not in the correct quantity. The lipid content in most dog/cat foods is far too high for most fish, freshwater or marine, and over time can result in fatty depsosition of the liver.

I'm really not looking for a debate, the OP is free to feed whatever they want.
