Came across this video, not sure if anyone has seen it, its a 3 part series showing the setting up of a 40M Aquascape by the master himself Takashi Amano...

Needless to say it is breathtakingly spectacular... Definitely a dream tank if i could have it, especiialy as 3 walls surrounding a house...

I'll need to watch this out of work, but even from the video thumbnails it looks like it's an insane size lol

Yeah, seeing the guys in the tank really put it into perspective... Espepecially when you see how thick the acrylic is...

lol I had a quick glance there at the end product, you can barely even see the small fish he's used; not that I have any sort of bearing compared to Amano, but he could have used at least medium fish to achieve the usual effect :P

I guess budget and possibly what fish compliment the plants were considered...

I mean i couldnt imagine how much it cost to setup this tank, just watching them pour out bag after bag of ADA power Sand + soil makes me think the budget was astronomically high... Also, i think water chemistry may have also played a part in it...

I suppose, although if they were to spend that much on sand etc; I'd have thought the fish cost would be comparatively low lol. Wonder if this tank is still running!

Holy wow!!! That is THE MOST BEAUTIFUL thing I've EVER seen in my life!!! I don't even have words for this, I watched the entire thing with my lower jaw on my toes, the size, the thought, the sheer wonder of such an amazing piece of art... Wow.. Just, wow..
