Which Ray has the largest or smallest mouth? Yes depending on size of course but a retic mouth at 6" vs a Motoro at 6" how much of a diffrence would mouth size be? or are they all relatively the same? If not does this play a factor on the food conversions of trying to get them on new foods and pellets? Also if not all relatively the same who has the largest and the smallest?

I think all rays can eat pellets of all sizes, when my marble was just a pup she could eat mussel and whitebait with no probs. Pellets are a matter of training plus the individual rays, I believe some are just stubborn. I wonder if wild caught are harder to get feeding on pellet as they do. It learn from parents. I have heard of many pups eating pellets on day one as the parents do.
I do not know if different species have different mouth sized but my pearl and my marble are similar size and have similar sized mouths. I wonder how far apart pearls are from motoros in species. My male is more robust looking for the same size disc but do not know if this is male / female differences or species?
