Last Dream Of A shelter dog

And sadly most shelter dogs don't end up like the one in the video did, they don't get that chance. Although I am proud to say that of all the shelters I know of near me, all of them are no-kill shelters. We're moving closer to a more animal-friendly world, the progress might be slow, but we're getting there.
 
great video Liz, its so sad to know that some dogs die just because no one will adopt them
if I ever win set for life I will devote my money to a no kill shelter
I just hate to know that there are dogs out there on death row who just want a home
and people want a bubbly dog from the pound, how can they when they are on concrete floors strangers coming in and out other dogs and unfamiliar smells
my last dog was a pound dog and he was extremely timid there but he changed the day we took him home
 
my dog is adopted. extreme dog/animal aggression without being told. it makes things fun though. good with the family
 
Its sad to think people still will go and get a puppy from a pet shop. Its also sad to think people will breed dogs just for money. Not caring what is the end result of the litter. If more people just voiced that buying from a pet shop is bad it might help. There are still alot of people who are clueless about puppy mills.

i agree...slowly but surely things are getting better..

thats great to hear.. the point i think in this video is trying to show us is that if someone judges the dog to be aggressive with out understanding all the emotions that are connected to being placed in a shelter so many times they will judge the dog wrong.. i know my dobie would be judged wrong.. some dogs just have more fear and because of their fear they react .. yet the same dog in the right environment has a perfect attitude and personality..
