last night was a horrible night

i lost one of my aros

i sat staring at them for a few hours, all was well. i left to go to home depot, come back n didn't even notice one was missing, 3 hours later my friend ask's me "i thought u had 4 arowanas" then i start looking around to find my original arowana i've grown fro 3" to 20" completly dried and dead

he had the most red, and was my original arowana, it was my fault, but he was almost 2 years old. whata freakin horrible night

it was my fault, because i didn't duck tape the lids like i should have. aros can jump and i knew this, yet i didn't do it.

Sorry for your loss, I lost my 2 24"ers due to feeder fish .
Mine were less than 1 year old and grew themm both from 3"

yah this guy was the runt of the group, he wouldn't touch pellets. super picky eater, but never took a dive. i can't imagine what he was thinking sitting on the floor like "what the heck did i do, i was in that huge tank, now im on the floor wondering why i can't breath"
