i think its really sad she has to sell those family heirlooms off just so she has a place to live. We should be taking better care of our elderly, becuase someday that will be us if we are lucky. for gods sake shes 96-she should get free care.

so im wondering is she THE last survivor? i wonder if there are any others left besides her?

Do you want to pay for her health care? I sure dont! I can barely pay for insurance for my family and I work at a major health insurance company!

The nation is getting older. We cant rely on the younger people who are far out numbered by seniors to pay for their health care.
 
lol socialist economics work well. Oh wait she'd still be broke cause she'd have definitley had no retirement plan (had to spend those extra on looking after elderly before) and she'd still be paying tax on pension to look after elderly. Guess she should have taken the money from that boat ride and put it into investments. We all have burdens to bare hers is sad but sell the heirlooms its better then going hungry. If you want to tax invest in youth so we have a future generation that is better off.
