Lateral Line Erosion

Is this the beginning of it? Does hole in the head and lateral line erosion go hand in hand? I ask because her head looks to be ok. I have never dealt with this before - just noticed it tonight.

So from what I've read, I need to up the water changes. I think she already gets a varied diet. Think Hikari pellets are sufficient, or should I feed a different one in addition?
 
just keep the water clean and parimeters good.
 
Not necessarily LLE...;). A lot of pikes get this as they grow, kinda like their body is getting bigger, so there is more of a gap...lol. Shouldn't really be anything to worry about unless it starts to pit really deep.

Definately up the water changes though if you are worried. Add a few more hiding places as well...;).
