it may sound strange at first - but how do you distinct between those two monster fish? Of course they normally come from different imports so it should never happen that they get mixed up, but since i have seen how messy some bigger imports companys work i am not that sure anymore.
When full grown it appears that the shape of the head is bit different, like that the Nile-Perch seems to be a bit flatter on the head and not that bulky in general, even tho he will get bigger overall in the end.
Also i guess the pattern in the youth is different a bit. But when they are around 10-20" how to divide between the two properly?
And are there any differences in behaviour and about their requirements in captivity?
