hi , everybody, what kind of lates is this?

looks to be an adult lates japonicus, or possibly calcarifer., I think its japonicus though

dont people who get japonicus usually know when they are getting a japonicus? ^^; unless hes just lucky to bump into one by chance that had been misidentified as a mundi earlier. dunno, either way, great looking lates

Not an easy one to give a definative answer from the pic.
L.lat count is not conclusive.
Tr. counts not conclusive either.
Cant do any thing else with the pic.
I would also say L. japonicus, have seen a LOT of Barra but never a live L. japonicus.
