Just picked up this little guy from my jet set Asian (Have fun with your vacation)!
Anyways awesome little guy ate within 5seconds being out the bag! This picture is as taken as soon as he was released from the bag!

I had a pair of Floridas once. Fun to watch them hunt the plants ambushing prey!

Great fish buddy...I got spotted florida gar also...Eats like a champ but isn't growing much any suggestions? His about 15cm now

In my experience they are pretty slow growers. Lots of water changes and quality food is the best for growth

Man I'm having a hard time feeding this little guy I might have to buy a 20g just for him to grow out. My tank is pretty aggressive so my bass and armatus hits anything that hits the water and he's not a really good hunter

Should hit 16" in a year so pretty rapid growth. Yearlings growth will slow down after that from anywhere between no change to a few inches a year.
