Saw this FH in my LFS and had to buy it.

Approx 3.5 inches

Paid £30 for it. Which is about $45.

Was told it was female, but im not completely sure :S I hate to sound neglagent but I really have no idea as this is my first FH. Anyone hazard a guess and any other information would be great

How do you tell the gender of these, just out of curiousity?

Had a little look around the forums. It is due to the black markings on the dorsal fin that its probably female?

female anal gland is larger then the males. so you flip it upside side and look at the females anal if its shaped like a U then its a female and if it looks like a V then its a male
also the characteristic of the fish. i believe males have more bulky body and the dorsal fin is usually longer then the females. the females dorsal fin is sorta round.
