So I contacted two local stores to get a 265G or 300G tank this week, one store called me back and said 6K for 8'x2'x2.5' I very nicely told them no thanks. If this other store doesn't come through it will be a tank from glass cages. They are coming to Kansas City on the 22nd of Feb so I could pick it up then. I am not sure why this last lfs is taking so long to get a qoute for this tank, its just a perfecto 265 nothing custom.

Has any one here had horizontal drilled overflows in their tanks, that they can tell me how well they workd?

your LFS should be able to order you a Perfecto 265 which goes for around 800 I think or the 300 deep dimension which is something like 1300 for the tank.

but 6K? wtf?

My LFS is usually pretty quick with responces - maybe find a new store?

I am puzzled myself 4 months ago I stopped at the store that I am waiting for the quote on, and asked for a price and they told me 800 on the spot. So now that I am ready to buy and just waiting to make sure it’s still 800 I haven’t heard anything.

I emailed glass cages today to ask when the last day I can order and still get it on the truck for feb 22. I would rather deal with my LFS but I don't want to miss the delivery for glasscages in the even the LFS tells me a high price. I will give my LFS until the 6th before just ordering from GC.

If anyone in the Kansas City area has an LFS that with big tanks let me know, I am currently still waiting to hear back from paradise aquatics on the price.

but they were both together im not sure how urs is gonna be setup
